Route 2 - Quartier Latin      

Continue in the Rue Galande (Old roman way to Lyon). At number 31 , Gable of the 15th century. At number 42 , Engraved stone (Low relief with St Julien in his boat). At numbers 46 to 54 , ogive and medieval caves. Turn right in the Rue St Julien le Pauvre and walk along the church. At numbers 4 , 6 and 10 , Medieval caves on 3 floors.

At number 11 , Old house. Enter on right in the Square René Viviani. In the center of the square , Robinier planted in 1601 and a well. Another well in front of the Church. Turn left in the Rue de la Bûcherie (dating from the 6th century). At number 37 , Fountain Wallace , At number 39 , one of the smallest houses of Paris.

 

Continue in the Rue de la Huchette. At number 4 , small display "A la Hure d'Or", at number 14 , Y of a mercier. On right , Small Rue du Chat qui pêche. At number 57 , Théâtre de la Huchette with always the same play. On left , Fountain St Michel (Dating from 1860). Take the small passage in the Rue de l'Hirondelle then on left in the Rue Git le Coeur.

Turn right in the Rue St André des Arts. Beautiful bookshop on left and engraved name of the Rue Séguier. Turn left in the Cour du Commerce st André. At number 13, Café Procope (where writers met during the french revolution). On left , Cour Rohan (Old house of Diane de Poitiers and Enclosure of Philippe Auguste). Turn right in the Rue de l'Ancienne comédie.
